Madura’s ready-made curtains are available in 3 widths: 145 cm, 200 cm, and 350 cm.

To find out which curtain size is best suited to your needs, first measure the length of the curtain rod.
If the rod is fixed to the wall or ceiling with a bracket, it should ideally jut out beyond the edge of the window by 20-30 cm on either side.
The further the rod extends beyond the window, the easier the window will be to open and the more light there will be.

If the rod is fixed between two walls, measure the space between them.

The width of the curtains should be 1.5 or 2 times the length of the rod. For light or sheer fabrics, the width can be up to 2.5 times the length of the rod.
Choosing the width of the curtain fabric depends on the length of the rod, but also on the desired effect.
The wider the curtain, the more pleats there will be for pencil pleat curtains, or the more undulating the fabric will be for an eyelet curtain.

Some models in the Madura range are available in the standard 280 cm height as well as an extra tall size of 350 cm for rooms with high ceilings, lofts and designer homes!
The rod should be fixed 5 cm above the window so as not to hinder opening it.

The length of your curtains will depend on the desired effect, with or without a break. For a clean and practical effect, opt for curtains which hang 1 cm off the ground. For a more contemporary, breaking effect, add a supplementary 3-5 cm.

For pencil pleat curtains, measure the distance between the floor and the underside of the rod to determine the correct curtain length.

For an eyelet curtain, measure the distance from the floor to the top of the rod and add 3 cm, as the curtain is always above the eyelet sliding along the rod.
